Well, in almost all cases, Linux can be used for your hosting needs. Unless you feel more comfortable using Windows for hosting or unless you have Windows specific requirements. That is truth. But actually as you know now linux can do everything that linux can and that is make them the same and I assume that is the main reason why the prices are become the same. That is useful for all customers to know the difference before sign up.
